Launch Your Games in Seconds
Getting back to your favorite games has never been easier.
When you download and install a game through the Games App, you’ll have the option to create a Desktop shortcut (icon).
That way, the next time you're ready to play, just double-click the shortcut and jump straight into the fun — no extra steps needed.
Installing a Game
After selecting a game to install, the Games App will take you to your Library, where a pop-up window will appear.
Here, you can choose how you’d like the game installed on your device including whether to create a Desktop shortcut.
Simply select your preferred options and click INSTALL.
Prefer Fewer Desktop Icons?
If you’d rather not create desktop shortcuts automatically, you can easily change this setting.
Here’s how:
Open the Games App
Go to Settings
Un tick “Create game shortcuts on install/play”
That’s it!
You’re in control of how your games are installed and launched.
