How to clear your
browser cookies
A quick fix for most sign-in, download and security certificate problems.
What are cookies?
WildTangent uses small files called cookies to remember helpful information, such as:
- Whether you're signed in
- Your web game progress
- The last games you played
If you're having trouble downloading games, seeing a security certificate message, or can't sign in to your account, clearing your browser's cookies may help. It removes saved website data so your browser can start fresh.
Before you clear your cookies: Clearing all cookies will sign you out of most websites, not just WildTangent, and may reset your progress in web games you play in your browser.
Games you've downloaded to your computer and games in your account are not affected.
Clear cookies in your browser
Choose the browser you use and follow the official guide:
Microsoft Edge
Follow Microsoft's guide: Delete browsing data in Microsoft Edge →
Look for Clear browsing data, then select Cookies and other site data.
Google Chrome
Follow Google's guide: Clear, allow and manage cookies in Chrome →
Select Cookies and other site data, then clear the data.
Mozilla Firefox
Follow Mozilla's guide: Clear cookies and site data in Firefox →
Select Cookies and site data, then clear the data.
Still using Internet Explorer? Microsoft retired Internet Explorer in 2022, and it no longer receives updates. For the best experience, we recommend using Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
After clearing your cookies
- Close your browser completely.
- Reopen it.
- Return to the WildTangent website and sign in again.
That's it! This fixes most sign-in and download problems quickly.
