Finalizing or Installing
If your game says "Ready to Install" but won't finish, or seems stuck "Finalizing" then you need to give it some help! This sometimes happens when the process gets stalled or hung up.
In order to complete the installation, you'll want to take the following steps
- First clear/delete saved cookies
- Then fully shut down the computer and restart.
- Download the game again
If you are still having trouble after following the steps above, then the download is likely being blocked by security software. You can read more about security software interactions and how to resolve them in this Help Center article.
Queued
When a game is "queued", this means that it is waiting in line to be downloaded. If you are currently downloading one game and select a second (or third, or fourth) to download as well, until the first is ready to play, the other game(s) will remain in the "queued" status.
If a game appears to be stuck in "queued" status, you will want to hit the X beside the game title where it says it's "queued", clear cookies, and then try the download once more.
