Sending a screenshot to Customer Support allows them to see exactly what you are seeing without having you type a 15-page essay describing the issue.
There are a few ways to take and send screenshots. Below is the most straightforward:
- Press the PrtScn key (PrintScreen) (if you are using a laptop you may have to press the Fn button as well).
- Open the email you received from Customer Support and put your cursor in the body of the message.
- PASTE the image. You can do this by pressing the Ctrl + V keys at the same time on the keyboard or using a mouse (right click and select Paste).
You could also use the Snipping tool (this comes with Windows 10)! Go to the Start menu, type in Snipping Tool, and click on New when Snipping Tool is open. You can take a screenshot of anything on your screen, as well as being able to circle notes if you'd like with the pen tool after you take a screenshot.
Then attached the screenshot to the reply ticket, and Customer Support will get it and review!
